The Experimental Jam is a space in which we explore movement through the dynamic of other moving bodies, music and silence. It is a safe and playful space, one in which we explore mindfully what is happening in the present moment.
It is a sort of playground for adults where we allow our innate creativity take our moving bodies to places we did not think where possible.
During the session we dance to the rhythm of our flow, silence and live music. We allow the impulses of silence and music, guide our bodies into the dance, but reciprocally we influence the state of silence and music being played at every moment. It is an interconnected jam between all three sources of stimulus.
We pay attention to our sensorial experience, which we achieve through mindful breathing, connection, movement and flow. In the mix of this all we also welcome our inquisitive child like mind to guide us in the exploration and creation of the temporary happening. Therefore, we play, move and dance within the unpredictable framework the present moment holds.
